When custom AI is the right move
Custom development is expensive. We only recommend it when: (1) off-the-shelf tools genuinely don't fit, (2) the process is core to your differentiation, or (3) the integration cost of combining existing tools is higher than just building it clean.
In every other case we'll use a mature tool — Claude, OpenAI, n8n, a vendor API. Custom is the last resort, not the default.
When custom is right, we build fast: typical engagements ship a first working version in 3–6 weeks.
