It lets you build agents that use tools in a controlled, iterable loop. Great for workflows where the agent has to query, decide, act, then do it again. Different from pure chat completion.
Is Claude expensive compared to GPT?
Similar pricing tier, better performance on complex reasoning. For many workloads cheaper total cost because fewer retries and less human correction.
